Whats the onboard currency. ?
On most cruise lines, the onboard currency is the US Dollar. Recently, they have started taking deposit from their guest at the time of boarding the ship. They issue a card known as “cruise credit card” which is an identification and credit card and your room key; can be used for any on – board expenses. At the end of the tour, you will either receive a refund or you will have to pay back.
Passengers are not allowed to bring alcoholic beverages on to the ship. Alcoholic beverages can be purchased in the ship's gift shops or in foreign ports. If you are celebrating a special occasion, fine wines and champagne can be brought on board.
